The Redwood Empire Optometric Society encompasses the Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma Counties and the surrounding regions.  Our mission is to advance and promote the profession of Optometry and to provide our members with the resources and support needed to provide the highest level of vision care. Our more than 50 members represent optometrists from every practice modality, including private, corporate, academic and HMO. We encourage all doctors in the area to join our society and help further advance our profession and future. 

REOS sponsors bi-monthly Continuing Education Dinners to encourage local optometrists to expand their knowledge base and continue to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in our profession. Featured speakers come from around the nation and are experts in their fields. 

REOS members serve the community through public education events and free eye screenings, as well as work with service organizations such as the Lion's Club, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), and the American Diabetes Association. ​
